Holy, Savannah! Quite frankly, we’re exhausted and still recovering (Bless you good people that are doing SXSW this week too). So many amazing bands in one incredible city. Here are a few of our favorite shots from the weekend.
Kicking things up with a fiery set by The Last Bison at Ships of the Sea. Virginia in the house!
William Tyler plugs in to the Third Man Records rolling record store to play a few songs. Oddly enough, Ty Pennington was here just moments earlier. We missed that photo opp.
One of our favorite discoveries of the fest, Savannah’s own Lovely Locks tear up Hang Fire.
The Coathangers are as bad ass as you would ever want them to be. Seen here putting the hurt on Hang Fire.
Christopher Paul Stelling is one of the most compelling songwriter folks you’ll ever lay ears on. We’ve been huge fans for a while. Thrilled to check him out again in the bright Savannah sunshine.
Country Mice sound check before their set @ B&D Burgers.
Fellow Virginians represent! Suburban Living looking undeniably dashing at Taco Abajo.
No idea who Colorfeels were before tonight. We won’t soon forget. One of the beautiful things about festivals like this one. Discovery!
Colorfeels break out the bow to close out the set.
Can you tell our new found obsession with Colorfeels?
So many handsome devils on hand at the Stopover. More Colorfeels love.
Sparetime alive with monkey business courtesy of MailChimp’s happy hour.
Worth mentioning are impeccable sets by the following folks whose sets we didn’t get a chance to photograph, but adored nonetheless (it’s a long story):
- Field Report
- The Whigs
- Swear & Shake
- Beach Day
- Moon King
- The Suzan
- You Won’t
- Delicate Steve
Check out these folks as they are pretty worthy in the Donkey’s opinion. Until next year …
