The Donkey loves TEEN, so you might get sick of hearing us talk about them at some point. Apologies in advance. Teeny and company just get better with each release, so we’re stoked about the forthcoming EP, Carolina, that drops May 28th on Carpark Records. This go round, the band worked producer Daniel Schlett, who recently worked on DIIV’s Oshin, at Strange Weather studio in Brooklyn. The result is a polished affair in the best of ways, that harnesses the levity of previous recordings, but explores new sonic ground and hones in on Teeny’s nimble vocals. A much more organic affair, you can tell this material is going to kick some serious ass played live.

The ladies are also hitting the road with the ever-adorable Eleanor Friedberger for a handful of summer dates.
