It’s almost here, folks. In just a few days, we’ll be settled up at the Fort for three days of amazing music, people, and scenery. One of the things we love about Newport Folk Festival (and believe us, there are many) is musical discovery.

Friday afternoon promises to be full of it as Communion Presents, in partnership with Deering Banjos, curates an afternoon of music on the Museum Stage.

Hamilton Leithauser (former lead singer for the Walkmen), Hozier, Bear’s Den, Willy Mason and Leif Vollebeckk will perform. Trust the Donkey, this is not to be missed.
