Brooklyn-based purveyor of darkness TORRES, aka Mackenzie Scott, has already been recognized as a must-see act at this year’s SXSW by Rolling Stone and NPR, but expect that buzz to grow quickly before things kick up in Austin next week. With the release of the video for Strange Hellos, the singer-songwriter’s intensity and vulnerabilty are even more apparent alongside some killer visuals. The long lines might be worth is for this one. SPRINTER drops May 5 on Partisan Records.
